Looking for ways to save money and help make your municipality more efficient?

The  Energy Technical Assistance and Planning for New Hampshire Communities (ETAP) is a two year program providing energy efficiency technical assistance at no charge to municipalities and counties in NH. ETAP's goal is to advance energy efficiency in all New Hampshire municipalities and provide the tools communities need to monitor energy performance. ETAP is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 and administered through New Hampshire's Office of Energy and Planning.

For more information, please download the Energy Technical Assistance & Planning For New Hampshire Communities Flyer or contact James Steele at 444-6303 or jsteele@nccouncil.org.

Revised Draft DRI Guidelines now available for Review and Comment

North Country Council is developing a set of guidelines to assist communities in complying with RSA 36:54-58 Review of Development s of Regional Impact. Two recent roundtable meetings were held to discuss and refine a first draft of the guidelines. Refinements based on the roundtable discussions were made. Please review the revised guidelines and send comments to NCC Community Planner Carole Bont by August 13, 2010 by email at cbont@nccouncil.org or by mail to the NCC office. The changes are italicized and underlined. A final draft incorporating these comments as appropriate will be presented to the NCC Representatives for consideration for adoption at the NCC Annual Meeting this fall. Thank you for contributing your thoughts and experiences to this project.
