North Country Regional Transportation Plan
As a Regional Planning Commission, North Country Council produces a Regional Transportation Plan. Starting in 2018, North Country Council began the process of developing a 2022 Regional Transportation Plan to replace the current 2015 Regional Transportation Plan. The goals of the plan are to:
- Engage with the public, community partners, and transportation stakeholders to identify transportation-related needs, issues, and opportunities in communities and travel corridors in the region.
- Use the information gained throughout the progress to assist with the development and prioritization of future transportation projects and policies in the region.
- Provide communities with information, guidance, and regional perspective on transportation to help inform local planning efforts and the development of local transportation projects.
